PRESS RELEASE – Cooksongold Announces New Collaboration with 3D LAB sp. z o.o.

Cooksongold, as part of the Heimerle + Meule Group, is announcing a new collaboration with 3D LAB sp. z.o.o. at the flagship Additive Manufacturing event Formnext.

This exclusive collaboration is centred on a specially adapted machine called the AtoNoble, a compact powder atomisation machine that will help revolutionise powder and parameter development.

The machine uses a patented process, known as ultrasonic plasma atomisation, to melt non-reactive precious metals into powder form. Typically powder atomisers take up a large space and infrastructure that requires a high volume of raw product. The AtoNoble has been specially designed to be compact, measuring approx. 1995mm high, 813mm wide and 1138mm deep, requiring less investment into infrastructure. It’s also able to use much smaller quantities of raw material, in this case, metal rods or wire that feed into the machine to create the atomised powder.

AtoNoble is the first of its kind to be specially adapted for precious metal powders including gold, silver and platinum and was adapted from the AtoOne – the first machine designed for powder atomisation by 3D Lab sp. z o.o. The AtoNoble will be vital in production and development in industries such as jewellery, healthcare, the electronics industry, aerospace and more that require the high densities of precious metal.
